Head to head

Crypto.com Visa vs Bybit Card EU

Two big exchange cards that both moved rewards behind conditions. Crypto.com’s free tier now earns nothing and higher tiers need a subscription and a 12-month CRO stake; Bybit pays a flat 1% to most users with no stake.

Where the difference comes from

Two large exchange cards that have both moved rewards behind conditions, in different ways. Crypto.com’s free Level Up tier earns nothing; rewards up to 5% in CRO need a paid subscription and a 12-month CRO stake, and FX fees are waived only on the upper tiers. Bybit pays a flat 1% in BTC or USDC to everyone outside VIP, with no subscription and no stake, but charges 0.5% FX and a conversion fee on crypto-funded spending.

The calculator gives Crypto.com zero at every level because the free tier pays nothing, and it does not model the paid tiers since their value depends on CRO’s price over a year of lock-up. Bybit’s 1% therefore wins every row where it is available, and it is not available in Romania, Ireland, Croatia or Norway. Crypto.com is offered across 40-plus EEA countries and holds Maltese e-money and MiCA licences; Bybit EU is licensed in Austria. Pick Crypto.com only if you want its lifestyle perks and accept a year of token exposure.
