The best crypto cards in Europe, read to the fine print.
Most comparison sites rank crypto cards by their biggest advertised number. We rank 11 cards by what you actually keep after caps, FX fees and token payouts — for where you live and how much you spend.
The calculator
What you’d actually keep
Most comparison sites rank cards by their biggest advertised rate. We rank them by net value at your spending level: cashback earned, minus FX, conversion and card fees — and only for cards you can actually get where you live.
In non-euro countries this includes local spending — lei, forint, krone, francs or pounds.
Only affects Krak, whose cashback depends on your average balance.
Net value per year, in euros. Assumes you spend from stablecoins or fiat — paying from BTC or ETH adds conversion spreads on most cards. Category bonuses and promotions aren’t counted. ether.fi’s USD cashback ladder is applied as an approximation. USD fees converted at about €0.90. An estimate, not financial advice — confirm terms with the issuer. How the calculator works.

How we score
Methodology, in the open
What you keep, not what’s advertised
We subtract FX fees, conversion spreads, caps and annual fees from the headline rate. A card paying 6% with a $250 fee is a subscription, not cashback.
Who actually holds your money
Self-custodial designs score higher. For custodial cards we weigh licensing — a MiCA registration you can check — track record and how easily you can exit.
Legal terms, not landing pages
Where marketing and cardholder agreements disagree, we print both and budget for the worse number. Every card is re-verified monthly.
