Head to head
ether.fi Cash vs Bleap
Both are self-custodial and pay cashback in USDC, but they solve different problems. ether.fi Cash is a credit card built around ETH: your collateral keeps earning while you spend, and 3% applies up to your tier’s monthly cap. Bleap is a simpler debit card with 0% FX and a 1% base rate, plus bigger category bonuses.

Where the difference comes from
ether.fi Cash pays 3% on the first $2,000 of spending each month on the free Core tier, then 1% on the next $1,000 and 0.5% beyond, so a €1,500-a-month spender in the eurozone sits inside the 3% band all year. Bleap pays a flat 1% base rate with no cap, plus 3% and 20% category bonuses that the calculator leaves out because they depend on where you shop. On raw rate, ether.fi wins by a wide margin at every spend level shown above.
Fees are where Bleap claws back. ether.fi adds 1% on anything outside USD and EUR, which in Romania means most local lei purchases; Bleap adds nothing on any currency. That is why the Romania column narrows the gap even though ether.fi still leads at €1,500. Custody is a draw: both leave funds in your own wallet. The deciding factors are availability, since ether.fi is not offered in the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia or Hungary while Bleap covers the EEA and Switzerland, and whether you want a credit line against ETH at all.
Choose ether.fi if…
you hold ETH, spend mostly in EUR or USD, and want the highest everyday rate.
Choose Bleap if…
you want zero FX fees, spend in non-euro currencies, or live in the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia or Hungary.
